George 3rd Mahogany Gents Serpentine Chest

Description

Fine Late 18th / early 19th century George 3rd mahogany Gents serpentine chest of drawers with fitted top drawer. The chest of drawers is a nice shape with bold serpentine shaped front. Four long drawers with cock beaded edges and original round brass handles. The drawers are all oak lined and retain their original brass locks as well as original brass handles. The top drawer is fitted and has a lift out adjustable mirror which can be sat on the top of the chest and adjusted to any angle. The chest stands on its original swept bracket feet.

The chest is a lovely colour with original patination and a waxed finish. There are a couple of very minor old veneer repairs.
