The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.
This is a good quality movement with an Incabloc shock resistance system. The movement is fully signed and the serial number dates it back to 1955.

The watch is a good wearable size at 34.5mm diameter excluding the unsigned winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in lovely condition. The inside of the case back is signed with the Longines name and logo.

The lens is in lovely condition.
The dial appears to have been professionally re-finished some time ago and it is in lovely condition.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a vintage Longines presentation box. The watch strap has to be folded underneath the watch to fit the box as the overall length is longer than originally intended for the box.
