Chest Of Drawers Arts And Crafts Ash Victorian C1880

Here we have a wonderful Arts and Crafts Ash chest of drawers c1880. As you can see the chest has great colour and patina. This Pugin influenced chest of drawers is made entirely of English Ash. The top has a stepped and chamfered edge. There is a chamfered edge to the sides with decorative moulding to the top. The drawers carry on the chamfered design and are all Ash lined with hand cut dovetail joints. Interestingly one of the drawers has the stamp J8921 and the last chest exactly the same as this we had was stamped Holland and sons and the same serial number. So we are attributing this to this maker. The locks are also stamped V crown R making the chest a Victorian period piece. The brass handles are original. A super chest in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 116 cm wide 110 cm 57 cm deep.
