Antique Swiss silver pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Birmingham 1919, together with the case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison. The Dennison Watch Case Company was a prolific manufacturer of cases, supplying various watch companies. The case is in lovely condition.

The watch glass has minor marking but is very acceptable.

The double sunk dial has a few hairlines, most are very faint with only one visible to the naked eye. Breguet style hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with a single silver chain, 34cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. There is also a later fob, engraved BG 1952.

The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
