Description

Antique silver Lanco pocket watch, 1912.

The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement, identified as by Langendorf which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged which has some unevenness and surface scratching.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for London (import mark), 1912 with a sponsor’s mark for Sigmund Pulzer, a gold and silver work and also an agent for Langendorf. The front and sides of the case are in good condition. The hinged case back, with engine turned detail and a monogrammed cartouche, has some unevenness.

The acrylic lens has general light marks, it is very acceptable.

The dial is in good condition.

The watch comes in a presentation box from a Bedford jeweller and watchmaker, the box is showing signs of age but still nice to have.
