Gents 9ct gold Accurist wrist watch, 1958.

The watch has a Swiss 21-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Accurist name.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Edinburgh 1958 with a case maker’s mark for the British Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marks, including two faint thin tracks where a thread through strap has been fitted in the past, and a hint of gentle unevenness to the back.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original dauphine hands and a subsidiary seconds dial.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a later Accurist presentation box together with outer sleeve.
