Antique silver Omega pocket watch, c1914.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Omega name, and it has the serial number 4,404,097 which dates it back to around 1914. The movement is protected by an inner cover which is signed with the Omega name, and it has details of medals won at the Paris Exhibition in 1900.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are Continental marks inside both of the case backs. The front and sides of the case are in good condition. The case back, which is nicely decorated, has some unevenness. There is also a cartouche with initials although they are rubbed and difficult to read.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.

The signed dial has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers with red 24 hour numbers. There is a cluster of hairlines around number 12, and a very faint hairline running across the dial.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
