Gents 1950s Tissot Visodate Camping wrist watch, roulette date.

The watch has a 16 jewel 27B-621 hand-winding movement which was in production from 1950 to 1961, and it is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Tissot name and the serial number 3957699 dates it back to 1957.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the case is chrome plated, there is general fairly light marking but overall the condition is good for such an early piece. The screw-on case back is stainless steel. It states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial may have been refinished at some point, but a long time ago. Original dauphine hands, seconds sweep and roulette date display (not quickset).

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
