Description

1940s Cyma military pocket watch.

The watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement, signed Cyma, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is plated and there is general surface marking and wear commensurate with its age. There is also scratching at the top of the case back where a case opening tool appears to have slipped in the past. The back of the watch has the military arrow, or pheon and the GSTP lettering (General Service Time Piece).

The watch glass is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in lovely condition. The paint has been removed from the hands and numbers 3, 6, 9 and 12 in the past, probably because of the radium content.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
