A 1930s silver Selex pocket watch by Dimier Freres & Cie .

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement, with 15 jewels, which is working well. The movement is stamped Selex, 15 jewels, Swiss made. Dimier Freres & Cie registered the brand name Selex in 1925.

The watch measures 49.4mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and has Birmingham hallmarks for 1936 with the case makers mark for the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking from use and a couple of “dings one to the side and one to the back but overall it is in nice condition for a 1930s piece.

The watch glass is in nice condition with only minor marking from use.

The white enamel dial is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
