Antique Georgian Oak & Mahogany Linen Press on Chest of Drawers C1780 Wdb6009/13.9

Description

Lovely original antique george 111 oak and mahogany linen press and dating from around 1780. It has a cornice top with deep flamed mahogany frieze above two single panelled doors with mahogany knob handles and with an internal central divider with two fixed shelves to either side. The base has a rounded edge to the top with two short drawers over three long graduating drawers all of which are pine lined with turned mahogany knob handles and it stands on rounded bun feet.

A lovely original georgian linen press in very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to both the oak and mahogany oozing the charm and character of the period.

The top spearates for ease of transporting.

Measures: 77" high X 20" deep X internal depth top 14" X 46" wide
