Antique Georgian Carved Oak Dresser Sideboard C1780 Wdb6012/13.9

Description

Antique george 111 oak dresser sideboard and dating from aorund 1780 with later early victorian profuse carving.it has a lunette carved rail to the top above two shelves with shaped frieze on boobin turned supports and with eight carved panels to the back. It has a plank top to the base with carved edge above three carved drawer fronts all of which are oak lined with brass handles below which are four carved panels with the two centre panels being doors with brass escutcheons. It is moulded to the base and stands on turned bun feet,

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the nut brown oak oozing the charm and character of the georgian oak period.

The top separates for ease of transporting.

Measures: 70" high X height to top of base 39" X 19" deep X 66" wide
