The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a 16-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 2177837 which dates it back to 1949.

The watch measures 30mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. Although originally designed as a man’s watch, it would suit a slimmer wrist. The case is stainless steel and it is in very nice condition. The signed case back states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in lovely condition with feuille shaped hands, red centre seconds hand and outer minute markers. The dial has probably been re-finished at some stage.
A later leather strap has been fitted. A new black or brown strap could be fitted if preferred.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
