Description

A low dresser originating from the Neath or Swansea valley, made from dense native oak of good figuring and colour. The distinctive drawer arrangement with a pair of square profile, candle drawers is often found in these localities. The beautiful frieze shape, elegant leg profile and reeded feet are also features found on the better quality dressers from this area. There are three raised and moulded-edge panels in the potboard. The drawers are elm lined and have fine quality replacement handles.

Originally with a rack, this dresser would make an excellent server.
