Regency Caddy Top Mahogany Inlaid Chest of Drawers

Regency, mahogany inlaid caddy top chest of drawers, dating from the 2nd quarter of the C19th. This chest of drawers with oblong shaped top with inlaid strung border and corner edge. Over crossbanded frieze over bank of drawers configured 2 small drawers over 3 full width drawers, all graduated in height, with cock-beaded edges, pressed brass oval plate back pull handles, shield escutcheons and locks. All raised on bracket feet. Mahogany veneers, pine linings, and sides.

An attractive period chest of drawers, fully functional and ready to use.

Dimensions:

This chest of drawers measures approximately 108.5 cm (42.75") tall, 92 cm (36") wide, and 46.5 cm (18.25") deep.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This chest of drawers is in a reasonably good condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally very sound and sturdy. Some marks and blemishes, see pictures, Left side with a natural aged split, now filled and polished. Later but period appropriate handles, original escutcheons, locks, no key. In good working order, very serviceable and ready to use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
