Small Victorian Mahogany Chest of Drawers

19th century
Description

A beautiful mahogany chest of drawers dating from the late 19th Century. Excellent quality and very well made with a lovely rich patina and wonderful grain. They stand on a plinth base and have a small raised gallery along the back edge. The drawers open well and it is a clean sturdy set with all the original turned knobs.

They are in good condition for their age. There are the usual small signs of wear and a few marks and some small chips around the bottom edge but nothing detrimental and they display very well. Internally the drawers are generally clean and tidy. They have been cleaned and gently polished and are ready for use.
