Antique silver Waltham Sterling pocket watch & chain.

The watch has a seven jewel stem winding movement, Sterling grade, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 10,763,925 dates it back to 1901. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 55mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two case backs for Birmingham 1904 with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison. The Birmingham case maker Dennisons made most of the cases for Waltham UK. Overall, the case is in good condition with just the odd minor mark and some rubbing to the engine turned detail to the back of the watch, nothing too serious at all.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.

The dial is in beautiful condition with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with a single silver plated chain, 25cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. There is also a silver fob which is hallmarked Dublin 1932, awarded by the 23rd Dublin troop to Singing Cub R Davey, 1931.

The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
