Description

Super quality and beautifully proportioned French 19th century Directoire style mahogany and brass inlaid marble top commode, circa 1850 and in great condition.

Classic style with the simplicity of the chest itself but the contrast of the brass inlay really brings out the rich colour of the mahogany. All original brass work and handles and brass caps to the feet.

The original charcoal grey marble is shaped to match the commode with the rounded front corners and moulded edge.

This commode gives you three full width drawers for storage, but also being such a decorative piece of furniture, it can work in any room of the house!
