Description

Antique 1913 Elgin pocket watch.

The watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement, grade 314, which is working well. The movement is fully signed and the serial number, 17260813, dates it back to 1913.

The watch measures 45mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The gold filled case is stamped B&B for Bates & Bacon, the company went on to become the Philadelphia Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking from use but overall is in nice condition. The case back has monogrammed initials.

The acrylic lens is in nice condition.

The signed dial is enamel. There are a couple of hairline cracks but they are very faint. Original blued steel hands.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
