Description

Antique Waltham full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 9,383,486 dates it back to 1899. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has some scratching where it has been opened in the past.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and it is in very nice condition. Engine turned detail to both the front and back, and a vacant cartouche to the front.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.

The signed dial looks good to the naked eye. If viewed through a jeweller’s loupe, there are a couple of short faint hairlines towards the edge of the dial.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
