The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, signed with the Omega logo, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and was made by Fahys, a New York based case maker. Joseph Fahys & Co was a high quality watch case maker with headquarters in New York. The company was founded in 1857 by Joseph Fahys, a French emigrant. Fahys supplied Omega with cases at the beginning of the 20th Century.
The glass lens is in lovely condition.
The dial is in super condition too.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
