Description

Gents Tissot wrist watch, 1959.

The watch has a calibre 27B-21 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. This calibre was in production from 1950 until 1961. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 4,367,971 dates it back to 1959.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel, it has general light surface marks, nothing too detrimental. The inner case back is signed with the Tissot logo. The outside of the back states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture. Original Tissot winding crown.

The signed dial is in its original finish which has darkened a little with age. Original hands, centre seconds and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
