Description

Longines pocket watch, 1953.

The watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement, calibre 37.93, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number, 8,880,285, dates it back to 1953. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover

The watch measures 47mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The nickel case is in good condition, just light surface marks, nothing serious at all. The inside of the case back is signed with the Longines logo.

The acrylic lens is in good condition, just very minor marking.

The signed dial has light surface marking. Blued steel hands (the hour hand appears to be a period replacement), subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
