For sale, this fine W. Ehrhardt large solid silver pocket chronograph, Makers to the Admiralty, dating circa 1896. Fully signed undamaged and unrestored original dial and gilt handset with a deep blued sweep seconds hand. The dial marked into 1/fifth sub seconds. This rare military deck watch design chronograph is in full working order keeping time including its stop start chronograph function. Fully hall marked W. Ehrhardt solid silver case in excellent tight condition. The exceptionally fine fully signed high quality gilt movement has recently been fully serviced. This a large watch with a diameter of approx. 5.5cm and approx. 1.5cm deep. Just a fabulous pocket chronograph, by a top-quality English marker.
