Description

Antique Waltham pocket watch, 1913.

The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement, grade 610, which is working nicely. The movement has nicely patterned plates, a star wheel regulator and a Breguet hairspring for enhanced precision. The movement is fully signed and the serial number, 19,472,482, dates it back to 1913.

The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a 2cm scratch and other shorter scratches from where it has been opened in the past.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and the case is in good condition, just some gentle unevenness to the hinged case back.

The glass lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial has a few hairline cracks but they are faint, not overly visible to the naked eye.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
