An unusual Regency bowfronted chest of two short and two long drawers in walnut, the caddy top with crossbanding and with a line of herringbone inlay with quarter veneered burr walnut, over drawers with similar treatment and brass handles with pierced backplates; the sides with crossbanding, and on splayed bracket feet. English circa 1820.
Condition: Overall very good, the structure is sound and the drawers run smoothly. The handles are replacements. The piece has a pleasing colour and appearance.
