18th Century Serpentine Commode

Description

Classic 18th Century, Parisian, serpentine commode. Decorated with elegant brass hardware and designed with the serpentine smooth curves also carved into the bottom moulding. Made from solid oak, the age has given this item a lovely warm brown aging. Also shown is a faded label on the reverse side of the commode.

In very good restored condition, with only slight signs of age related wear. Includes the original key, with original working locks.

Originating from Paris, France. Dates to circa 1780.
