Antique Electa pocket watch, Kemp Brothers, Bristol.

The watch has a good quality Electa movement which is working nicely. This is a good quality 17 jewel adjusted movement with screw set jewels, Breguet hairspring for enhanced precision and a swan neck micro regulator. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has light surface marking.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from the Dennison Watch Case Company, a prolific manufacturer of cases for various watch makers. The case is in good condition with just general light surface marks.

The glass lens has light marks across it.

The dial is signed with the name of the original retailer, Kemp Bros, Union Street, Bristol. The dial is in lovely condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
