Description

1920s Swiss Madix pocket watch.

The watch has a good quality 15 jewel Swiss stem-winding movement, signed Madix, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model by the Dennison Watch Case Company, an English company who made cases for various watch makers. The case is in nice condition with only a small “ding” to the back cover.

The glass lens is in good condition.

The white enamel dial is in nice condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
