Description

A fine quality marquetry wellington chest .The eight drawer chest with round decorated handles surrounded by marquetry swags and urns all raised on a plinth base with line inlaid .The drawers are locked by the right side opening and closing locking all the drawers this has inlaid decoration that is copied on the other side all this under a mahogany top with a central shell inlaid. The sides show how good quality the timber this piece is made off ,and the sides are also line inlaid .The top drawer bearing the makers stamp of Edwards and Roberts .
