The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1960s.
The watch has a 25-jewel automatic movement which is working nicely.
The watch is a good size at 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the case is rose gold plated while the case back is stainless steel. The inside of the case back is dated 1965. There is a little rubbing to the plate if you look closely.
The compressor case had a unique seal construction which ensured water resistance through pressure on the gaskets. As with any vintage watch however, we recommend that it is kept away from water and moisture.

The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in very nice condition with original hands, seconds sweep and an early form of quickset date where the hands are moved repeatedly between 12 midnight and 9pm until the desired date is reached.
A later leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
