Early 18th Century Walnut Chest of Drawers of rare small proportions having very good colour and patina, in good original condition. The top and drawer fronts have matched figured walnut veneers with half feather banding, the top is nicely finished with an inverted corner. The ends are original and made in pine. The bracket feet are for the most part original with some repairs, the handles are replaced with the correct example for the period. The original Oak drawer linings are in good clean condition. The Chest tips up to reveal good dry clean boards underneath.
