Description

Really very lovely 19th century Continental pine chest of four long drawers.

This is a neat size chest of drawers and is very different to the typical English Victorian chests. This Continental chest has a fabulous two plank top, below is the frieze drawer with scroll detail to either side and below a further three full width drawers, flanked by further carved detail and supported by those lovely original block feet.

Great washed out colour and has beeswax polished beautifully. To the bottom of the left hand side, you will see there are some curious age related wounds, although nothing structural or of any concern.
