The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, possibly by Chopard, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a sunburst pattern to the inside.

The watch measures 46mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 935 silver and there are Continental hallmarks inside the three covers.
There is a little enamel loss. The back of the watch has beautifully ornate initials.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.
Inside, there is a glass lens which is in lovely condition.
The dial is in lovely condition with original pin-set blued steel hands, including the special half hunter hour hand so the time can be read when the front cover is closed.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
