Antique silver Omega pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed on the regulator with the Omega logo.

The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover which has the details of the original owner engraved on it , C. Simms. Stamford.

The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are Continental hallmarks for 935 silver inside both of the case backs, this is slightly purer the 925 sterling silver. The inside of the case back also has the early Omega logo. The case has light surface marking from use and there is some mild unevenness to the back but overall it is in nice condition for an 1890s piece.

The glass lens has a little marking , light surface scratches and a small nibble to the outer edge at 9 o'clock, but overall it is very acceptable for such an early piece.

The dial has a hairline crack between the sub seconds dial and 8 o'clock although very faint. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
