The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

Dennisons manufactured cases for various watch makers. The case has engine turned detail to both the front and back, and a vacant cartouche to the front.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.
Inside, there is a glass lens which is in lovely condition.
The dial is signed Bravingtons Renown. Renown was a brand name used by the London jeweller / retailer Bravingtons for watches sold under their name. The brand name was registered by Bravingtons in 1935.
The dial is in lovely condition and has its original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
