The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a nice quality stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with a very small logo for Monnin, Rebetez & Cie of Porrentruy, Switzerland.
cliniquehorlogere.ch, original not included).

The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has short scratches from where it has been opened in the past.
The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and has a very handsome 3D block pattern to both the front and back. The case was made by Manufacture Genevoise de Boites de Montres and the inside of the case back is signed with the same MRC Croissant logo as found on the movement.

The small button on the winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.
Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in lovely condition (there is a lot of reflection in the photos but this is purely the light, not a crack).
The signed dial is in its original finish with Breguet style numbers and blued steel hands.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
