Very decorative and super quality English Regency mahogany and inlaid chest of drawers, circa 1820.
Great mid size chest of drawers and being rather more interesting than many other Regency chests, this will sit well in a living room setting as well as a great bedroom storage piece.
Wonderful colour and figuring to the mahogany grain with the bone escutcheons and brass handles being the perfect contrast.
All drawers are running well and have cockbeading to the edge.
Some age lines to the sides but none of any concern and quite normal.
The top is further inlaid with boxwood stringing.
