This is a wonderful George II solid oak chest of drawers, two short over three wide and the most fabulous warm golden oak colour and finish, circa 1750 and in good original condition.
The chest of drawers has a two plank top with a moulded edge, panelled sides and the drawers have their boards running front to back, standing on all four original ogee bracket feet.
Some lovely age related knocks and bumps, some use marks as you can see but I have left these as they are deep below many many layers of wax polish so it has a great finish and isn''t shy about its approximately 270 years of age.
Wonderful chest of drawers, great to use for bedroom storage but also I can see this finding a home in a living room as it''s such a lovely piece.
Measuring:
13 1/2 inches or 77.5 cm high
33 3/4 inches or 85.5 cm wide
20 inches or 51 cm deep
