The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1960s.
The watch has a calibre 784 automatic movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 5,855,511 which dates it back to 1962.
The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated and it is in very nice condition with just general light surface marks. The case back has the Seastar Seven logo.

The lens is in good condition, just a couple of light short scratches which are not overly noticeable to the naked eye.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, seconds sweep and a date display… an early form of quickset date where the hands are repeatedly moved between a quarter past midnight and 10.30pm until the desired date is reached. There is age related marking across the dial.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
