Gorge III Style Serpentine Fronted Mahogany Chest

Description

Circa 1850.George III style serpentine fronted mahogany chest of drawers. The top in mirror matched figured Spanish mahogany with rosewood cross banding and a thumb-moulded edge over 2 short and 3 long graduated drawers with cock beads, quality oak liners, brass locks and brass rococo loop handles. The canted chest sides with blind fret carvings. All supported on a moulded base and shaped bracket feet.
