Description

Really nice early Georgian three drawer chest with brushing slide. This chest of drawers is in mahogany with solid mahogany drawer fronts and oak linings. The drawers have oval swan neck handles and brass escussions, with a lip mould round the drawers. The top is in flame mahogany with a lambs tongue moulding. The brushing slide has an old baise set inside it, and unusually the brushing slide has a sliding locks each side to hold it in. This piece stands on its original bracket feet. Circa 1760.
