Very decorative and good quality English 19th century ebonized and inlaid Credenza sideboard with its original centre mercury mirror door, circa 1880.
Very simple, yet classic style with the inlays and hint of brass work throughout, contrasting beautifully with the very sleek ebonized finish.
This is nice narrow depth, so it could work in a large hall as an alternative console table, but would work in many places, especially good as a large drinks cabinet.
The condition is good throughout, there are of course age marks to the ebonized top surface, but nothing more than you might expect from a piece of furniture nearing 140 years old...I personally rather keep the history and use visible, rather than stripping and refinishing, but if you would rather a perfect finish, do let me know.
The lamps are shown to give a sense of scale and not included in the price, but are available separately.
