Description

Chinese late 19th century red lacquered sideboard originating from the northeast Chinese region of Dongbei this style of this cabinet is typical of the area.

The red lacquer is intricately decorated in gold depicting butterflies and flowers . The red and gold on the front contrasts nicely with the black ebony top and sides. The decorative elements of this chest are  exquisite and of the finest quality .

In good, vintage condition with usual signs of age.

Dimensions:

121cm W x 73cm H x 49 cm D
