George III 18th century Hepplewhite period serpentine mahogany chest of drawers in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster & London.
The figured mahogany top retains a good colour and patina with swept back sides and canted corners. Four graduated mahogany drawers retain the ''Gillowesque'' style handles with the oval patera decoration brass plaque in the middle of the oval handle. The drawers are oak lined and full length with the serpentine chest raised on the original bracket feet.
