The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a jewelled hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has some scratches and unevenness.
The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the fixed wire lugs.

There is a small knock to the hinged bezel and three little bruises to the hinged case back but overall the condition is very acceptable for such an early piece.
The lens is in good condition.
The dial has a couple of faint hairline cracks. Originally the hands and the numbers would have had luminated hands but this has been removed over the years, probably due to the radium content… we have tested with a Geiger counter and the levels are down to normal every day background levels.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
