Antique silver half hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is all protected by an inner hinged dust cover which is engraved with the wording, The British Supply Corporation Ltd, 22 Barbican, London, Swiss Made.

The watch measures 47mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are Continental hallmarks inside all three covers. The front and back covers have engine turned detail and the condition is good. There are three little “dings” to the side of the case.

The front cover has a small central lens surrounded by blue enamel filled Roman numerals. The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.

Inside, there is a glass lens which is in lovely condition.

The dial is in lovely condition and has pin-set blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
