The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a grade 620 stem-winding movement which is working nicely.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold filled Moon model from the watch case maker Aaron Dennison. Dennisons supplied most of the cases for Waltham UK. The front and sides of the case are in good condition. The case back has two “dings”.

The front cover is released by pressing the winding crown in, the cover opens a little further than the usual 90 degrees. Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.
The signed dial has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. It all looks good to the naked eye. If viewed through a jeweller’s loupe, there is a very faint short hairline between 11 and 12.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
