A Georgian, country Oak chest on chest, made in the middle of the 18th century.
Circa 1750
The chest on chest (tallboy) was made in 2 parts. This makes is easier to get into your home, or transport around the house to different locations.
The top section chamfered & carved.
Below the moulded dental cornice are two short drawers, above 3 full width graduated drawers.
The bottom section with a further 2 full width graduated drawers.
This chest on chest stands on straight bracket feet.
All the drawers are lined in oak, and with rare shaped and lattice brass back plates with swing handles. Complete with original Georgian key.
