Gents Tissot Visodate Seastar wrist watch, 1965.

The watch has a 21-jewel automatic movement, calibre 784, which is working nicely. This calibre of movement was in production from 1959 until 1965, and the serial number on this movement, 7,056,102, dates it back to 1965.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the case is gold plated and it is in good condition, just a few little marks to the back but they are small. The case back is stainless steel and it has the Seastar logo. There are some scratches to the case back. The inside of the back has the Tissot logo.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, seconds sweep and an early form of quickset date where the hands are moved repeatedly backwards and forwards between 12 midnight and 10pm until the desired date is reached.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
